We are Hiring

Lamar County Library System is hiring a full-time Branch Manager for our Purvis location. This position oversees daily branch operations, supervises staff, supports patron services, and helps plan community programs.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and library experience; college coursework and supervisory experience are preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday (9–6) with rotating Saturdays (10–2).

American Sign Language Club will meet Thursday, December 18th at 5pm. We will learn new phrases and signs each month.

● Hanukkah Storytime

December 18, 2025 (Thursday) | Oak Grove Public Library
We will be learning about Hanukkah at this weeks storytime. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and so a craft at the end. Storytime lasts about 30 minutes and is designed for preschool aged children but all are welcome.
