The Oak Grove Writer's Guild meets every Wednesday at the Oak Grove Public Library at 4pm. They accept writing prompts, share their writings and give feedback. Whether you write for profit or pleasure, this group is here for you.
Lamar County Library System closes the last Friday of every month for staff training and cleaning. This month we will be closed September 25th but will reopen Saturday 9/26/26 at 10am.
Do you have craft supplies you will never use? Have you picked up a craft and realized it is not for you only after you bought all the supplies? Bring your good craft supplies to Oak Grove Public Library to exchange for different crafts you can try or add to your collection. Drop off will begin September 24th.
Fridays in October we will be playing a family friendly movie. 9/2- Casper, 9/9 Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost, 9/19 Hocus Pocus, and 9/23 Twitches. All will be shown at 4pm.
