The members of Oak Grove Writer's Guild will be holding a novel writing workshop on Wednesdays November 5th, 12th, 19th Dec. 3rd, 10th, 17th, Jan 7th and 14th. If you have ever thought of writing a novel come to this workshop! It will be led by a published author.
Members from the Sigma Tau Delta's academic honor society will be at Oak Grove Library to read and create a craft. Don't miss this opportunity to come to story-time on a Saturday!
We have a potluck dinner starting at 6pm. We will play 2-3 rounds of an easy social dice game called Bunco. We can teach you how to play in just a couple of minutes.
Have you ever made a turkey after tracing your hand? We will make hand turkeys. Next we will battle them and the last remaining turkey Viking will be the winner. We think it is appropriate that the winner receive a real frozen Thanksgiving turkey!
The library offers services that many don't know about. We are diving into these services one at a time to highlight how to use them. This month we will talk about Mango Languages a free program you can do at your convenience.
